Conduct the necessary email/telephone negotiations about the cargo or vessel. After successful negotiations produce a draft recapitulation of all the charter party terms that have been agreed. Produce a final “recap” and later on a final charter party document. Ensure that there is proper, understandable/clear and prompt communication between the contractual parties throughout the currency of the charter part. Ensure that payments of cargo freight and ship hire have been made.
